  • Katie Watson, Head of Riverside Children’s Centre, explore child participation. Ms Watson is renowned for her pioneering work recording the voices of absent military fathers for their children, and her Children’s Centre won the Children & Young People Now Early Years Award 2008.
  • Cynthia Knight, Director of St Thomas Children’s Centre discuss how to work towards the provision of affordable childcare. St Thomas was awarded an outstanding rating by Ofsted.
  •  Alan Dinning from Hertfordshire on phase 3 Children’s Centres. Hertfordshire currently has the highest concentration of phase 3 centres of any other borough.
  • Dr Margy Whalley, Director of Research Pen Green Research, Development & Training Base & Leadership Centre on engaging hard-to-reach groups. Pen Green is nationally renowned for its pioneering work and research into Children’s Centres.
